Snakehead from Kota Marudu, at evening...small sizes only...
Today, i visited again the last year spot which are the most hot spot i ever found in Pitas District. the spot located on a bridge, a small river flowing from the palm estate...
i've tried cast again on the spot which i got a snakehead here last year. the spot i seen today was full of rises, and rises of other fish too... not a long wait for me to catch the 1st one... only just the inline spinner drop in the water and flowing down to bottom, the snakehead strike! i quickly fight it back and the snakehead was very strong!!! it tries to swim left & right, but i manage to get it landed before loosing it. wow! a good size of snakehead...
then i cast only on the spot, i got many strike loose and only landed in another 2 of the snakehead. the last strike had me bitten nail, the strike came in hard & the snakehead just going inside a weedy spot and the line was jammed there, i tried to release it but, no luck from the strike and i had to cut off the line... maybe next other day i will visit this spot again...
on the evening, i tied back my line and cast at my regular spot in Kota Marudu. this time using the flying job, i manage to catch a small snakehead withtin 5 minutes of casting... release it back as usual and i end my day today with a good results of snakehead catches!
